1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using One Roof SD (“the Platform”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

2. Description of Service

One Roof SD is a marketplace that connects homeowners with licensed, insured home service professionals in the San Diego area. We facilitate introductions and provide tools for quoting, booking, and payment. We are not a contractor and do not perform any services directly.

3. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information about yourself and your project
  • Not misuse the Platform or attempt to access it through unauthorized means
  • Communicate respectfully with service professionals
  • Pay for services as agreed upon with matched professionals

4. Service Professional Vetting

We verify that professionals in our network hold valid California contractor licenses and carry appropriate insurance. However, we do not guarantee the quality, timeliness, or outcome of any work performed. You are responsible for reviewing quotes, checking references, and making your own hiring decisions.

5. Payments & Fees

Payments processed through the Platform are subject to our payment terms. Service professionals set their own pricing. One Roof SD charges a platform fee which is disclosed at the time of booking. All payments are processed securely through our third-party payment provider.

6. Limitation of Liability

One Roof SD acts as a marketplace and is not liable for the actions, omissions, or work quality of any service professional. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability shall not exceed the platform fees you have paid in the preceding 12 months.

7. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration in San Diego County, California, under the rules of the American Arbitration Association.

8. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance. We will notify registered users of material changes via email.
